Beth Ann Prince

Trial Attorney

Beth PrinceBeth Ann has deep roots on Hilton Head Island where her family moved in the late 1970s. Before she settled permanently in the lowcountry with a family of her own, Beth Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton and graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Beth Ann’s wide and varied experience renders her uniquely proficient in today’s trial practice. She is a former Assistant Solicitor and Special Gun Prosecutor for the 14th Judicial Circuit. Following that, she enjoyed a successful private practice as a litigator, focusing exclusively on family law and civil litigation. In 2009, our General Assembly confirmed her as a Magistrate Court Judge for Beaufort County, where she was instrumental in implementing many new practices which increased the efficiency of the court. In 2015, Beth Ann gave up public service to re-enter private practice at Bauer and Metro, P.C., where she again focuses on civil litigation with a heavy emphasis on family law and domestic relations.

Beth Ann is licensed to practice in all South Carolina state and federal courts. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the South Carolina Bar, and the Hilton Head Bar Association. She is also certified in Collaborative Family Law Practice.

Beth Ann’s clients have come to value not only her knowledge and expertise, but also her compassion and understanding. Known amongst her colleagues as an experienced, tough, and effective litigator, she offers the kind of representation you want in your corner when you need legal counsel the most.
